John M. Lockwood is the founding attorney of the Lockwood Law Firm in Tallahassee, Fla. John specializes in the alcoholic beverage, cannabis, casino gaming, and health care industries. He has represented both individuals and businesses against regulatory agencies, as well as regulatory agencies against private parties. Prior to joining the Lockwood Law Firm, T.J. represented several regulatory agencies, including the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Florida Department of Health. This experience in the public sector allowed him to form a unique understanding of the inner workings and decision-making processes of regulatory agencies. He uses this unique understanding to form effective strategies to avoid or resolve disputes with regulatory agencies.

T.J. graduated magna cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law and earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Missouri State University.

T.J. resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Khanty, and daughter, Malia. In his spare time, T.J. enjoys playing soccer, traveling and whiskey.

Devon Nunneley is an attorney in Tallahassee, Fla. Her practice focuses on administrative law, particularly advising and representing clients in the gaming and medical marijuana industries.

Prior to joining The Lockwood Law Firm, Devon practiced law in Washington, D.C., at two of the nation’s leading law firms. During that time, she represented large companies and foreign-sovereign clients in complex civil litigation at the trial court and appellate level, and also represented corporate policyholders in negotiations and litigation related to complex insurance coverage.

Devon graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a winner of the Hinton Moot Court Competition in brief writing and oral argument.

Devon received dual Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees, cum laude, from the University of Florida in International Economics and Spanish. She attended the University of Florida as a National Merit Scholar and was a member of the Honors Program.

Devon is licensed to practice law in Florida. She resides in Tallahassee with her energetic rescue dog, Layla. She loves food and cooking, has traveled to more than 30 countries, and is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
